For dog super hero, Lightning (John Travolta), every day is filled with adventure, danger and conspiracies, but only when the cameras are turned on. When the star of a hit TV series accidentally ends up in a truck, that will take him far from comfortable trailers Hollywood studios, then will begin his true adventure - a journey through the real world of New York from all over America,  on which he has to regain his owner Penny.
