Nim's Island

The main characters of the story are scientist Jack and his daughter, who live in remote Australian island. Their idyllic life turn into a fight for survival when Jack's ship disappears in a storm, and the only person Nimi can turn to for help is her e-mail friend Alex Rover, adventurer, played by Jodie Foster.
