The film "Man on the Edge" begins very tense, with
former cop Nick (Sam Worthington) who is
threatening to jump from a high building. The move draws the attention of
public and the police, and the young detective Lydia Mercer (Elizabeth Banks)
gets the assignment to try to convince him to come back into the building. With
every passing minute, the tension of the film grows more and more as the police
quickly realizes that the man on the
cliff is not there because of his personal problems, but he is intentionally
trying to be the focus of the police, and let his colleagues to do a century
plan - amazingly ambitious robbery of diamonds from the heart of Manhattan.
