Married couple Will (Cage) and Laura Gerard (Jones) live a
happy life in New Orleans, he as English teacher, and she's a musician.
Unfortunately, one day Laura was attacked while she returned to the musical
rehearsal and Will went to the hospital to visit her. There, to his surprise
meet Simon, an unknown man who was ready to retaliate the attackers of Laura,
if Will is ready to help him. Six months
after the event, Simon returns to raise his debt. Unfortunately, the debt means
that Will must avenge misfortune by killing criminals who escaped from justice.
Confronted with the new situation in which he found himself, Will would have to
not only try to get rid of his debt, but also to prove his innocence to the
police and the media who are suspected that he was part of a secret
organization that kills people.
