The famous novelist Stephenie Meyer has in recent years
experienced great success with film adaptations of her written works (the
globally famous romantic-fantasy film Twilight franchise), and the latest
adaptation moves in the realm of science fiction. The film follows the life of
a young Melanie Stryder, whose body is the home of alien creatures that took
over the her mind and wants to control it. Unlike other people who are
kidnapped like this, alien spirit named Wander reveals that he can access the
memories of Melanie, and slowly begins to realize the emotional contact with
her friends and family.
